Did you know that you can enjoy a fabulous dining experience at Refettorio OzHarvest Sydney and give back to those in need at the same time?

‘Refettorio’ comes from the Latin word reficere, meaning ‘to re-make’ and ‘to restore’ and the talented chefs at Refettorio OzHarvest Sydney are masters at using sustainably and ethically sourced local produce to create zero-waste meals.

The Refettorio offers a free three-course lunch made with love to those experiencing food insecurity, and every ticket sold to a ‘Pay it Forward Dinner’ helps the team serve at least four people in need of a nutritious meal during their daytime service.

Pay It Forward Dinners are held every week, giving guests the opportunity to dine at the Refettorio and learn more about this project. As a guest, you will be treated to a delicious three-course vegetarian meal along with non-alcoholic drinks.

So, gather your favourite humans and fill your belly at the Refettorio – you’ll be nourishing yourself and so many others.

Inclusions

  • 3 course vegetarian meal plus snack.
  • Accompanying house made non-alcoholic beverages, include house made fruit shrubs and seasonal spritzes.

Making a difference

  • Refettorio OzHarvest Sydney is an entirely not-for-profit space.
  • Meals are prepared using up to 95% fresh rescued ingredients.
  • Outside of the meal service, the Refettorio functions as a community hub to help foster local connections and inclusion.
  • The Refettorio includes activities to support some of OzHarvest’s education programs including Nourish, NEST and FEAST, and continues to evolve to offer workshops and events that celebrate the local culture, arts and humanities.
